Stagioni d'Amore (Apr 12, 2026)
Stagioni d’Amore (Seasons of Love) offers an afternoon of music by Claudio Monteverdi in a dramatic tribute to love for every season of the year. Tenet’s performers explore love’s emotional highs and lows through madrigals ranging from sprightly to tormented in nature, impassioned arias, and instrumental interludes.
You can hear this concert in New York City on Saturday, April 11th at 6pm in Park Avenue Christian Church (1010 Park Avenue, NYC). Visit Tenet's website for more details.

Auld Acquaintances (Nov 9, 2025)
This fall, Tenet brings you heart-melting music from Scotland! We’ll explore poetry and ballads by Robert Burns (1759-1796), Scotland’s National Poet. Burns’s deeply expressive lyrics flowed over fiddle tunes and folk songs, earning him the title Bard of Humanity. But there’s more: this show’s music spans Renaissance to modern day songs with rousing and sweet Scottish dances, trio sonatas, traditional jigs, strathspeys, and reels.

Rosettes (Apr 27, 2025)
What is more enjoyable than hearing a lute song? Perhaps quartets of singers and lutes joining together in song! For our 2024-2025 series finale, TENET presents an unforgettable program highlighting the magical combination of voices and lutes in varied combinations. We’ll tell stories through poetry from renaissance England, hear dazzling lute quartets from the continent, and toast to Spring’s arrival.

Sisters of the Moon (Feb 22, 2025)
The connection women share between them has long been a source of both mystery and fascination by creators of art, literature, and music. Time and time again, artwork projects images of women encircled - bonded together in community as sisters and mutual protectors. We will peek into this world of sisterhood and share stories of sacred and secular women as they connect to the natural world and the night’s sky.

Ariadne Unbound (Nov 17, 2024)
TENET retells the story of Ariadne in a lively and dramatic pastiche of 17th Century Italian music. With an intimate cast of six, each singer embodies the main characters of Ariadne, Theseus, and the inhabitants of the island of Naxos. The tale is told through duets, arias, madrigals, and opera scenes by Francesca Caccini, Sigismondo D’India, Barbara Strozzi, and Claudio Monteverdi.

Forces of Nature (Feb 11, 2024)
Guest director, curator, composer Shira Kammen joins TENET Vocal Artists to guide us in telling a collection of stories about iconic women through medieval music. Forces of Nature is a deep dive into the stories of historical figures in celebration of mythical goddesses. It re-examines female archetypes through the poetry of Christine de Pizan, the original Carmina Burana, and the voices of the ancient sibyls. Our program includes music by Binchois, Jacopo da Bologna, and Hildegard von Bingen, among others.
